Traditional Sri Lankan architecture, design, materials and colours are the signature of our Luxury Villa Suites. All of them have magnificent views of ‘God’s Forest’ and are furnished with antiques sourced throughout Sri Lanka. The three suites which are located in the main Villa are spacious, with sumptuous Emperor sized beds, and luxurious en-suite bathroom.
There is a long veranda and private courtyard for you to relax in and doors open to your very own private walled garden where you’ll find an outdoor shower and plunge pool. The suites are ideal for honeymooners. The Luxury Villa Suites can also accommodate an additional 2 beds, making them ideal for family holiday stays.
Our romantic Pepper Garden Cottage is a mini-suite and makes a beautiful couples’ hideaway. Set in its own garden, the cottage is located slightly away from the main villa, and will suit those who are looking for an additional degree of privacy and seclusion.
The cottage features a luxury double bedroom, en-suite bathroom and an attached Ambalama (Pavilion) sitting room over looking the garden , surrounded by the sounds of the birds and rustle of the trees above.
The five Forest Pavilions are a luxe indoor /outdoor experience. Suitable for double occupancy. The traditional Ambalama pavilions are on raised platforms, cantilevered out from the hillside and surrounded by the forest. Constructed using village teak and bamboo sustainably harvested. A private deck provides amazing views of the forest canopy and mountains beyond .
During the day thick canvas curtains and bamboo blinds are drawn back as you wish so you are at one with nature. At night curtains are drawn and blinds put down for privacy, comfort and warmth. A king size bed with a luxury mattress is placed under a light cotton mosquito net to keep out insects, but also to create an utterly romantic ambiance.
Due to its open air nature, some insects are inevitable at night , thus the pavilions are recommended for nature loving adventurous couples. The en suite bathrooms are open to the sky in the dry season, for a wonderful natural experience, including showering under the stars . Whilst a coconut palm canopy is installed during the rainy season.
